Hey peeps! We are the Fu siblings, Sheila & Calvin, hence the Fu Foodies. Welcome to our restaurant guide! If you haven’t noticed, all the restaurants we review here have been rewarded Michelin star(s). Here you will receive our most honest opinions on these restaurants and whether they deserve the star that they have acquired.
We were born and raised in Hong Kong and Calvin is studying in The University of Hong Kong while I am studying in Le Cordon Bleu Paris. Growing up in Hong Kong, a place known as “美食天堂” which translates as “food paradise”, food has always been a significant part of our culture. And being raised in a food loving family, we have had the opportunity to dine at a lot of fantastic restaurants. Our love for food has developed into an obsession to find the best restaurants in the world. Since the Michelin Guide is the most respected and well known restaurant guide in the world, we decided to begin a search for the best Michelin starred restaurants.
We are not professional food critics, just simply two young adults hoping to share our love for food. To many we may seem like spoilt amateurs, but you can be the judge of that.
We also are not professional writers, so please be forgiving (especially because many of our reviews are written right after the gigantic meal *coughfoodcomacough*)
Since we live in Hong Kong, most of our reviews will be on restaurants in Hong Kong, but our frequent traveling allows us to visit restaurants all around the world (woot shoutout to the parentals).

Calvin & Sheila:
Been avid consumers of the F&B industry for a total of 41 years.
Knows umami. Well. Very well. (we're basically best friends)
Sheila:
- Basically stars in Julie & Julia in her dreams.
- Spends her free time reading cookbooks (or just at 3am in replacement of sleep).
- Can and will jump with joy at the sight of a giant spatula
Calvin:
- Has eaten all of Sheila’s food.
Okay, on the more serious side, we are just two food loving foodies who love food (do you get it yet?). And as our appreciation for food continues to grow, and our palettes continue to become more refined, we decided to put together something where we can share our thoughts with you all!
